Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Beara McBjarton made the kick off which started today's match. Bannan Tierney came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lough AFC's Eoin Kirby. But to his dismay, Eoin Kirby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Phelim Caffey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bannan Tierney was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. A collision led to Lough AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lochlainn Branson hit a great ball. Eoin Kirby struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Bannan Tierney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lough AFC. After a rather tough play, Lough AFC's Bryan Lester got a free kick in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Eoin Kirby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bannan Tierney. Leap AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eoin Kirby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Phelim Caffey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bannan Tierney having to interfere. Bannan Tierney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eoin Kirby in the 28th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Eoin Kirby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lough AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eoin Kirby in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bannan Tierney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eoin Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Leap AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lough AFC were winning 0-3.

Lough AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Artur Callaghan in the 52nd minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Bearach Walker advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-4 in the 53rd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Leap AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lough AFC:s goal. In the 59th minute, the referee gave Lough AFC a penalty. Artur Callaghan looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Bannan Tierney. Lochlainn Branson kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Eoin Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Eoin Kirby kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bannan Tierney. That made the score 0-6 in the 67 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eoin Kirby got free with Bannan Tierney in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Eoin Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lough AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eoin Kirby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bannan Tierney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eoin Kirby in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bannan Tierney, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 85 played minutes Lough AFC got a freekick which was hit by Treno Savic. In the 88th match minute, Lough AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Callaghan to maneuver through the defense. Scott McGlynn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac McAlphie, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Beatty Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Scott McGlynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
