Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Beara McBjarton kicked off to start the match. When Leap AFC's Beatty Murphy in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gortnasate's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute Braoin McPhilip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bannan Tierney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beara McBjarton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beothach McAlphie having to make a save. Leap AFC's Bannan Tierney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Leap AFC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Leap AFC's Bannan Tierney got control of the ball when Casey Coyle tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Beatty Murphy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leap AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Braoin McPhilip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braoin McPhilip in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bannan Tierney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Leap AFC's Bannan Tierney got control of the ball when Casey Coyle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casey Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bannan Tierney having to interfere. If Braoin McPhilip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braoin McPhilip to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Leap AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barhan Deans to maneuver through the defense. Casey Coyle struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Bannan Tierney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gortnasate. Braoin McPhilip took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bannan Tierney. Bannan Tierney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Braoin McPhilip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Braoin McPhilip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casey Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bannan Tierney having to interfere. The supporters of Leap AFC booed when Gortnasate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cahir McGlenn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braoin McPhilip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Braoin McPhilip notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Leap AFC's Bannan Tierney. Bannan Tierney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bannan Tierney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braoin McPhilip in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casey Coyle in the 75th minute of play forced Leap AFC's goalkeeper Bannan Tierney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casey Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Braoin McPhilip notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Leap AFC's Bannan Tierney. Bannan Tierney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beara McBjarton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leap AFC's Beatty Murphy got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braoin McPhilip in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bannan Tierney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th match minute, Gortnasate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavin Cassin to maneuver through the defense. Branson Cronin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beothach McAlphie. Gortnasate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
