Duff Doherty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brecc Prunty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darrin McAaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duff Doherty having to interfere. Art McPhil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Duff Doherty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Brecc Prunty sped through Claggan Utd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Duff Doherty. Torrey McTom kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Duff Doherty didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brecc Prunty went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the match, Claggan Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Brecc Prunty came free, but Duff Doherty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glangristeen's Baydan Keegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoffrey O'Down in the 25th minute of play. Torrey McTom hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Art McPhil suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Artt McNamee charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artt McNamee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Glangristeen's Brecc Prunty got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bragain McBrandon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duff Doherty having to interfere. In the 37th minute Brecc Prunty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duff Doherty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darrin McAaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duff Doherty having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Reginald McMichel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baydan Keegan. Reginald McMichel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After the first half Glangristeen were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reginald McMichel to make the kick off. Brecc Prunty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duff Doherty having to make a save. A collision led to Claggan Utd getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Torrey McTom hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Brecc Prunty got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginald McMichel in the 59th minute of play forced Glangristeen's goalkeeper Baydan Keegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brecc Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duff Doherty having to interfere. Duff Doherty made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brecc Prunty in the 62nd minute. Brecc Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duff Doherty having to interfere. Glangristeen's Brecc Prunty got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, one of Claggan Utd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Duff Doherty had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Bearchan Quinnless's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Duff Doherty came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Glangristeen's Bearchan Quinnless. But to his dismay, Bearchan Quinnless quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 80 minutes into the game, Joseph Ramsey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glangristeen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Claggan Utd the free kick. After a rather tough play, Glangristeen's Joseph Ramsey got a free kick in the 80th minute. Brecc Prunty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duff Doherty having to make a save. Claggan Utd's Reginald McMichel got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geoffrey O'Down sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duff Doherty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded Glangristeen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Claggan Utd.
