The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rylee McLiam was the one to do the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blaithmeic Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ailín McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ailín McJon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Duggan having to interfere. Lougheraherk's Rowan Perth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rylee McLiam in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Lougheraherk's goalkeeper Rowan Perth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blaithmeic Hughes. Rylee McLiam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Lougheraherk got a freekick which was hit by Dermot Horgan. If Blaithmeic Hughes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berke McIan charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berke McIan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Barnacahoge got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Perth. 91 minutes into the match, Barnacahoge's Blaithmeic Hughes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rowan Perth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Lougheraherk's goal looked a bit too open when Rylee McLiam came free, but Rowan Perth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
