Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reginald McMichel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Reginald McMichel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geoffrey O'Down sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Claggan Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blathmac Gough to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Claggan Utd's Duff Doherty got control of the ball when Beatty Murphy tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Reginald McMichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Leap AFC's Breas McJohn got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Geoffrey O'Down received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bannan Tierney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginald McMichel in the 37th minute of play forced Leap AFC's goalkeeper Bannan Tierney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Beatty Murphy could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Duff Doherty however easily saved by the left post. Bannan Tierney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginald McMichel in the 41st minute of play. If Beara McBjarton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Torrey McTom fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Claggan Utd's protests and gave Torrey McTom a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Beara McBjarton made the kick off in the second half. Beara McBjarton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duff Doherty having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Claggan Utd's zone, Beara McBjarton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duff Doherty came out of the goal and Beara McBjarton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Beara McBjarton notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Claggan Utd's Duff Doherty. Duff Doherty was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute, Geoffrey O'Down got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Claggan Utd's Reginald McMichel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bannan Tierney. That made the score 1-1 after 66 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beara McBjarton in the 69th minute of play forced Claggan Utd's goalkeeper Duff Doherty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Reginald McMichel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bannan Tierney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beatty Murphy in the 74th minute of play forced Claggan Utd's goalkeeper Duff Doherty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Reginald McMichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Reginald McMichel lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Bannan Tierney. In the 80th minute, Reginald McMichel made a precise shot to the right of Bannan Tierney. Leap AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 83 played minutes Reginald McMichel rounded Leap AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. Claggan Utd's Duff Doherty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beatty Murphy in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Reginald McMichel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bannan Tierney. Leap AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reginald McMichel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. The Leap AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Claggan Utd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
