Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Beara McBjarton kicked off to start the match. Lougheraherk's Quinn Palmer got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Quinn Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Quinn Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bannan Tierney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bannan Tierney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ailín McJon in the 12th minute of the match. Quinn Palmer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bannan Tierney having to make a save. If Quinn Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Beatty Murphy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rowan Perth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Breas McJohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bannan Tierney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ailín McJon's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Lougheraherk's Quinn Palmer got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quinn Palmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bannan Tierney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biviti McSteven hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Quinn Palmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lougheraherk's supporters rose to their feet, but Quinn Palmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bannan Tierney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Leap AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Quinn Palmer came free, but Bannan Tierney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ailín McJon in the 48th minute of play forced Leap AFC's goalkeeper Bannan Tierney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Quinn Palmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Bannan Tierney made a huge save. If Quinn Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes Leap AFC got a freekick which was hit by Isaac McAlphie. 57 minutes into the match, Leap AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ailín McJon came free, but Bannan Tierney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beatty Murphy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quinn Palmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Bannan Tierney made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Leap AFC's Devlin Savic got a free kick in the 70th minute. Quinn Palmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bannan Tierney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lougheraherk's Rowan Perth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beatty Murphy in the 74th minute of play. Leap AFC's Beara McBjarton got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Breas McJohn kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 1-2 became the score in the 82nd minute when Quinn Palmer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ailín McJon in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bannan Tierney saved Leap AFC from getting behind. Isaac McAlphie hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Ailín McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lougheraherk's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
