Kilcronagh's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Darren McJohn 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When Brecc Dimson fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dromcunnig's protests and gave Brecc Dimson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Brecc Dimson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eoghan Rutherford's late challenge caught a Dromcunnig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eoghan Rutherford helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kilcronagh getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Eoghan Rutherford hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Bartel McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilcronagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartel McBjarton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bohannon Tierney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 16 minutes of play, Kilcronagh's Baran McStephen made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bohannon Tierney was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, Dromcunnig's goal looked a bit too open when Eoghan Rutherford came free, but Bohannon Tierney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basil McStephen hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Kilcronagh's Baran McStephen in 24 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Bohannon Tierney guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Bairthmead Myler's late challenge caught a Kilcronagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bairthmead Myler helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Loughlin Dimson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dromcunnig's supporters rose to their feet, but Loughlin Dimson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bodibeua Prunty breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Dromcunnig's zone, Bartel McBjarton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bohannon Tierney came out of the goal and Bartel McBjarton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bartel McBjarton came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Kilcronagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartel McBjarton couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Baran McStephen notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dromcunnig's Bohannon Tierney. Bohannon Tierney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bohannon Tierney came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilcronagh's Baran McStephen. But to his dismay, Baran McStephen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darren McJohn was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Bohannon Tierney managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Kilcronagh's Eoghan Rutherford fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bodibeua Prunty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren McJohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Darren McJohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baran McStephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bohannon Tierney having to interfere. Kilcronagh's Bartel McBjarton got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bohannon Tierney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baran McStephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loughlin Dimson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bodibeua Prunty having to interfere. If Bartel McBjarton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 89 in the game by Bartel McBjarton from a close distance when the talented Bohannon Tierney managed to make a qualified save. Dromcunnig's players were relieved. Bodibeua Prunty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren McJohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Darren McJohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Baran McStephen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baran McStephen in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bohannon Tierney saved Dromcunnig from getting behind.
