After some careless play in the Cahersween Utd defense, Herich McOliver kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baolach Savic. The Cahersween Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baolach Savic should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Tairbeart booed when Cahersween Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carson Myler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ross Hamilton took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baolach Savic. Baolach Savic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Carson Myler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cahersween Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Carson Myler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradon Byrne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Cahersween Utd booed when Tairbeart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shey Robinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cahersween Utd's Bohannon O'Keefe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tairbeart. Bradon Byrne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carson Myler's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Gordon Ramsey hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ross Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Baolach Savic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes, Tairbeart's Roy Myler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baolach Savic came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tairbeart reached it. If Herich McOliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cahersween Utd getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Brett McWill hit a great ball. When Brett McWill got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Cahersween Utd. Brett McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carson Myler was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Ross Hamilton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carson Myler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bradon Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradon Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brett McWill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ross Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herich McOliver might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baolach Savic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herich McOliver ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Cahersween Utd getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Edwin Hunt hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Tiarnan Keegan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baolach Savic showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Edwin Hunt fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cahersween Utd's protests and gave Edwin Hunt a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Cahersween Utd got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Hunt. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Herich McOliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tairbeart's supporters rose to their feet, but Herich McOliver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 81stth minute of the game Herich McOliver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cahersween Utd's Baolach Savic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the game, one of Cahersween Utd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cahersween Utd:s Baolach Savic showed great skill when he stopped Tiarnan Keegan:s penalty. Bradon Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brett McWill in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Herich McOliver fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Cahersween Utd's Baolach Savic got control of the ball when Ross Hamilton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gordon Ramsey took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baolach Savic. Baolach Savic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Cahersween Utd fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tairbeart were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
