In the 20th minute of the match, Breadan Murphy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Berkeley Ramsey was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Breadan Murphy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rathscannel's supporters rose to their feet, but Breadan Murphy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berkeley Ramsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Donelle Keegan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th match minute, Rathscannel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thurl Duggan to maneuver through the defense. When Bodibeua Willson came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Teelin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bodibeua Willson couldn't finish the play. If Breadan Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Derin Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shamus McPaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dane McJohn hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Bodibeua Willson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teelin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rathscannel the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breadan Murphy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Blake Coyle's late challenge caught a Rathscannel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dane McJohn took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berkeley Ramsey. Berkeley Ramsey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thurl Duggan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Berkeley Ramsey. Teelin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bodibeua Willson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Shamus McPaul made a huge save. A collision led to Teelin getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Derin Walker hit a great ball. Shamus McPaul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bodibeua Willson's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bairre Johnson during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bairre Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
