Carrowreagh Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Barde Crowe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baolach Savic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donoghue McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carson Myler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Carrowreagh Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Brett McWill came free, but Donoghue McJohnny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Carrowreagh Utd's Bergin Kelly got a free kick in the 24th minute. Bricin Moran struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Baolach Savic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrowreagh Utd. In the 31st minute, Barde Crowe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carrowreagh Utd's Barde Crowe got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bricin Moran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baolach Savic having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carson Myler in the 38th minute of play forced Carrowreagh Utd's goalkeeper Donoghue McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 42 in the game by Bricin Moran from a close distance when the talented Baolach Savic managed to make a qualified save. Cahersween Utd's players were relieved. Donoghue McJohnny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carson Myler's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barde Crowe to make the kick off. The supporters of Cahersween Utd booed when Carrowreagh Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donelle Hutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brendan Quinnless hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute of the match Bergin Kelly sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baolach Savic skillfully saved the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Bricin Moran notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cahersween Utd's Baolach Savic. Baolach Savic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, Cahersween Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Barde Crowe came free, but Baolach Savic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bricin Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Beagan Gollogley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baolach Savic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barde Crowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Cahersween Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Barde Crowe came free, but Baolach Savic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Carson Myler took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Donoghue McJohnny to make any attempt to save it. In the 94th minute Barde Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baolach Savic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Cahersween Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beagan Gollogley to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
