Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tyrone Murphy got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Laban's Patton McCollion got a free kick in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Laban's goalkeeper Fachtna Savic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Earnán Gough. Fachtna Savic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierce Johnson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Laban's Fachtna Savic got control of the ball when Earnán Gough tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 minutes, Fachtna Barrett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laban and the Seershin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Laban got a freekick which was hit by Fachtna Barrett. Rorry Ryan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Fachtna Savic made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Rorry Ryan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Seershin's goal looked a bit too open when Bragain Caffrey came free, but Petran McWillie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Laban's goalkeeper Fachtna Savic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Earnán Gough. In the 27th minute, Fachtna Barrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Seershin's goal looked a bit too open when Bragain Caffrey came free, but Petran McWillie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel McAaron hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Seershin defense, Bragain Caffrey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petran McWillie. The Seershin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petran McWillie should have stopped the shot. After 40 played minutes Laban got a freekick which was hit by Balor Holt. Patton McCollion hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Coran McSteven's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petran McWillie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Laban were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pierce Johnson to make the kick off. Pierce Johnson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Rorry Ryan charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rorry Ryan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rorry Ryan kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Seershin getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Rorry Ryan hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, Laban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewy McBrand to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Laban's zone, Earnán Gough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fachtna Savic came out of the goal and Earnán Gough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fachtna Savic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierce Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Tyrone Murphy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyrone Murphy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petran McWillie having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Seershin's Samuel McAaron got a free kick in the 84th minute. Petran McWillie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tyrone Murphy in the 84th minute.
