After 19 played minutes Farnane AFC got a freekick which was hit by Derrick McTommy. A hard shot by Shane McAlphie from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Aron Branson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Earnán Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Farnane AFC's Aron Branson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierce Johnson in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel McAaron in the 32nd minute of play forced Farnane AFC's goalkeeper Aron Branson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Farnane AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pierce Johnson came free, but Aron Branson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Seershin's Pierce Johnson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aron Branson. That made the score 1-0 after 41 minutes of play. Teigue McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petran McWillie having to interfere. Farnane AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Pierce Johnson scored to the left of an out of position Aron Branson, making the score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pierce Johnson was the one to do the kick off. Earnán Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierce Johnson scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aron Branson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute, Samuel McAaron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Earnán Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Branson having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Farnane AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Earnán Gough came free, but Aron Branson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Farnane AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac McBrandon to maneuver through the defense. In the 102nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Seershin's goalkeeper Petran McWillie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Seershin had won after a very even match.
