If Barhart Todd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bivitas McJohn got in the 10th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Alex McCollion handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Gearoid Mullan came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Paulsworth Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gearoid Mullan couldn't finish the play. Timothy McPhil kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Briain Grant was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bivitas McJohn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex McCollion having to interfere. Bivitas McJohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alex McCollion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bivitas McJohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 41 played minutes Gortnagane FC got a freekick which was hit by Brennen Hutton. In the 42nd minute, Gearoid Mullan made a precise shot to the right of Brennen McVictor. Gortnagane FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 47th minute, Gearoid Mullan made a precise shot to the right of Brennen McVictor. Bivitas McJohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alex McCollion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tevin Beckett kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Gearoid Deery managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortnagane FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gearoid Deery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex McCollion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarlath McGlenn struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Alex McCollion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gortnagane FC. Alex McCollion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bivitas McJohn in the 85th minute of the match. Gortnagane FC's Brennen McVictor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Gortnagane FC from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, the referee gave Paulsworth Utd a penalty. Giles Doyle looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Brennen McVictor. After a defensive mix-up in Gortnagane FC's zone, Barhart Todd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brennen McVictor came out of the goal and Barhart Todd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulsworth Utd's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
