Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Seoirse McTom took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bairre Horgan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seoirse McTom's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rineanna's zone, Artuir McLian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bairre Horgan came out of the goal and Artuir McLian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Brendon John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bairre Horgan made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Artuir McLian sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teris Costello during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Teris Costello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Artuir McLian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Annfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Artuir McLian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bairre Horgan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rineanna's goalkeeper Bairre Horgan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Seoirse McTom struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Bairre Horgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Annfield. Artuir McLian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bairre Horgan having to interfere. Artuir McLian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Bairre Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Heron Caffrey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annfield and the Rineanna players grew even worse after the yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

54 minutes into the match, Rineanna's goal looked a bit too open when Paud Savic came free, but Bairre Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seoirse McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artuir McLian in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bairre Horgan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artuir McLian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bairre Horgan having to interfere. Seoirse McTom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bairre Horgan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Teris Costello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Pauric Dalton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rineanna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Annfield the free kick. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rineanna! The referee gave Annfield a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rowan Scully, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rineanna's Bairre Horgan. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seoirse McTom in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bairre Horgan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bairre Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artuir McLian in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Seoirse McTom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bairre Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes Annfield got a freekick which was hit by Artuir McLian. Seoirse McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bowie McIan fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rineanna's protests and gave Bowie McIan a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rineanna! When the referee ended the match the Annfield players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
