Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) Britt Kirby started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 played minutes Barraduff got a freekick which was hit by Blanche McSteven. In the 7thth minute of the game Britt Kirby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barraduff's Basil Ferguson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brefni Silke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Ferguson having to interfere. Berk McCready took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brefni McGlenn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Carrig Utd booed when Barraduff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brefni McGlenn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Barraduff's goal looked a bit too open when Britt Kirby came free, but Basil Ferguson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Bradain McGlenn in the 17th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Begg Deans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brefni McGlenn scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berk McCready, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the game, Brefni McGlenn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Berk McCready was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 35 minutes, Brefni McGlenn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barraduff's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brefni McGlenn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 played minutes Carrig Utd got a freekick which was hit by Baoithin Coyle. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carrig Utd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baptist McBjarton was slow to take the kick. During this time Barraduff's players had a chance to rest. Berk McCready made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brefni McGlenn in the 41st minute of play. Berk McCready showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Begg Deans in the 44th minute of the match.

In the 53rd match minute, Barraduff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blanche McSteven to maneuver through the defense. When Patraic Murphy fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrig Utd's protests and gave Patraic Murphy a yellow card for diving instead. Blanche McSteven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berk McCready having to interfere. The supporters of Barraduff booed when Carrig Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavin McPhilip didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, Barraduff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baptist McBjarton to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Lochlainn Lester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basil Ferguson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brefni Silke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brefni Silke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Basil Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Britt Kirby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Ferguson having to interfere. Britt Kirby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basil Ferguson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brefni Silke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Britt Kirby in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basil Ferguson saved Barraduff from getting behind. Berk McCready showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brefni McGlenn, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Berk McCready took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Begg Deans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Britt Kirby scored 2-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basil Ferguson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
