Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Seosamh McPeter started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Brakawn Horgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bellaghy Deery hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Donell Frankson shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Brakawn Horgan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Doonally booed when Calluragh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendon Palmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes Calluragh got a freekick which was hit by Treno McWillie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brady McDonald in the 35th minute of play forced Calluragh's goalkeeper Boynton McVictor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Críostóir Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ainnle McWilliam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seosamh McPeter in the 38th minute of play forced Calluragh's goalkeeper Boynton McVictor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brakawn Horgan might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ainnle McWilliam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brakawn Horgan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd play minute Bellaghy Deery came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ainnle McWilliam. 1-1. Ainnle McWilliam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brakawn Horgan in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brakawn Horgan to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Calluragh's Brakawn Horgan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ainnle McWilliam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Doonally's goal looked a bit too open when Bellaghy Deery came free, but Ainnle McWilliam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Críostóir Kirby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ainnle McWilliam was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ainnle McWilliam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brakawn Horgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Calluragh's goalkeeper Boynton McVictor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brady McDonald. 74 minutes into the match, Doonally's goal looked a bit too open when Brakawn Horgan came free, but Ainnle McWilliam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ainnle McWilliam came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Calluragh's Rooney Byrne. But to his dismay, Rooney Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 80 played minutes Calluragh got a freekick which was hit by Bellaghy Deery. Ainnle McWilliam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brakawn Horgan in the 88th minute of play. Rooney Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Calluragh's Treno McWillie got a free kick in the 94th minute. Calluragh walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
