Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jarlath McGlenn got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Briain McJohn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Auley McJames was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Paud Savic fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Annfield's protests and gave Paud Savic a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Artuir McLian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seoirse McTom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brennen McVictor having to interfere. Gortnagane FC's Briain McJohn got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Auley McJames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Briain McJohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Artuir McLian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brennen Hutton charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brennen Hutton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Gortnagane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brennen Hutton to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Seoirse McTom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Annfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Seoirse McTom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brennen McVictor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarlath McGlenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Auley McJames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Briain McJohn in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Annfield's goal looked a bit too open when Briain McJohn came free, but Auley McJames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artuir McLian got free with Brennen McVictor in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Seoirse McTom to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play Annfield's Paud Savic was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Paud Savic kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Briain McJohn took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Auley McJames. Auley McJames dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A collision led to Annfield getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Heron Caffrey hit a great ball. Artuir McLian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Brennen McVictor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Artuir McLian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barin Deans kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Auley McJames made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Briain McJohn sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jarlath McGlenn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortnagane FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarlath McGlenn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Auley McJames breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cáirbre Callaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Gortnagane FC got a freekick which was hit by Barin Deans. Jarlath McGlenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jarlath McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artuir McLian in the 96th minute of play forced Gortnagane FC's goalkeeper Brennen McVictor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
