Gearoid Mullan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berk McCready having to interfere. When Timothy McPhil fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paulsworth Utd's protests and gave Timothy McPhil a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Paulsworth Utd's Timothy McPhil got a free kick in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Brefni Silke put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alex McCollion. Alex McCollion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Britt Kirby's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Berk McCready made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. If Barhart Todd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Barhart Todd came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Paulsworth Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barhart Todd couldn't finish the play. Barhart Todd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
