Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kealan Grant started the match with the kick off. Kealan Grant hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Barnaby Caffey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brakawn Horgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Barnaby Caffey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baiste Scully in the 13th minute of the match. Kealan Grant in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Boynton McVictor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 20th minute, Brakawn Horgan made a precise shot to the right of Barnaby Caffey. Ballybrew's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 27th minute Kealan Grant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boynton McVictor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beatty Delaney hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ballybrew getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bran Beckett hit a great ball. Barnaby Caffey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brakawn Horgan in the 34th minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Raymond Ramsey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballybrew and the Calluragh players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Ballybrew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Ramsey to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes, Calluragh's Donell Frankson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Barnaby Caffey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Calluragh reached it. After a rather tough play, Calluragh's Peadair McLaughlin got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 47 minutes of play, Calluragh's Brakawn Horgan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barnaby Caffey was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brakawn Horgan to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brandon McFrank in the 55th minute of play forced Calluragh's goalkeeper Boynton McVictor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barnaby Caffey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brakawn Horgan in the 59th minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Brakawn Horgan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calluragh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brakawn Horgan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ballybrew's Beatty Delaney got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Beatty Delaney off the ground. In the 73rd match minute, Ballybrew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beatty Delaney to maneuver through the defense. Shea Bayes fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 77th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. A collision led to Ballybrew getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Bran Beckett hit a great ball. Brakawn Horgan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Barnaby Caffey firmly grabbed it by the left post. Barnaby Caffey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baiste Scully in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute Bellaghy Deery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaby Caffey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brakawn Horgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Barnaby Caffey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kealan Grant charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kealan Grant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Ballybrew got a freekick which was hit by Kealan Grant. The Ballybrew fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Calluragh were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
