In the 14th minute, Treno McAaron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Rossanean got a freekick which was hit by Barclay McJohnny. A collision led to Rossanean getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bram McNamara hit a great ball. Jarlath McGlenn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Timothy Duggan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Bivitas McJohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Rossanean's goalkeeper Timothy Duggan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarlath McGlenn. Timothy Duggan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bivitas McJohn in the 25th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rossanean's goalkeeper Timothy Duggan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brennen McVictor came out of the goal and Caimin McSteven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gortnagane FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
