Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Britt Kirby started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Calluragh's Brakawn Horgan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berk McCready was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Brakawn Horgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute Calluragh were awarded a corner. Donell Frankson went to the cornerflag to take it. Donell Frankson made a great header on Calluragh's corner, it was just that Carrig Utd's Berk McCready managed to reach the ball for a save. Berk McCready made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Brakawn Horgan sent off a good shot on target. Carrig Utd's Berk McCready proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Carrig Utd from getting a goal against them. Berk McCready made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Brakawn Horgan sent off a good shot on target. When Carrig Utd's Brefni Silke in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calluragh's goalie prevented a goal. Boynton McVictor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Britt Kirby in the 24th minute of play. Brakawn Horgan took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berk McCready. Berk McCready dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 32 minutes into the game, Brakawn Horgan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Berk McCready. Brakawn Horgan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Brakawn Horgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berk McCready having to interfere. The supporters of Calluragh booed when Carrig Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavin McPhilip didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brakawn Horgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Treno McWillie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Britt Kirby scored 3-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boynton McVictor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brakawn Horgan to make the kick off. When Calluragh's Brakawn Horgan in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carrig Utd's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Baiste Scully who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrig Utd's Berk McCready was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Berk McCready didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baiste Scully went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Carrig Utd's Berk McCready played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baiste Scully in the 67th minute of play. Brakawn Horgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baiste Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Berk McCready tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Baiste Scully notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Carrig Utd's Berk McCready. Berk McCready was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Críostóir Kirby made a precise shot to the right of Berk McCready. Carrig Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. A collision led to Calluragh getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Treno McWillie hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Calluragh players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
