In the 19th minute, Gearoid Mullan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex McCollion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyle McGlenn in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Monneill AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Declan Walker hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match Giles Doyle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Colm McGlynn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Barhart Todd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm McGlynn having to interfere. Barhart Todd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Colm McGlynn made a huge save. A collision led to Monneill AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Joseph Frankson hit a great ball. Monneill AFC's Colm McGlynn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gearoid Mullan in the 44th minute of play. Alex McCollion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyle McGlenn in the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barhart Todd couldn't finish the play. Peter Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Barhart Todd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm McGlynn having to interfere. Colm McGlynn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barhart Todd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Monneill AFC's Taveon Cronin got a free kick in the 87th minute. Gearoid Mullan struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Colm McGlynn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paulsworth Utd. The audience was convinced that Gearoid Mullan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Colm McGlynn was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paulsworth Utd fully deserved thier win.
