The audience was convinced that Bradagain McPaul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harold Gollogley was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The supporters of Srananagh Utd booed when Corbaly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colmcille McCready didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gordon Ryan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Braonain Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bairthmead Cassin in the 25th minute of the match. Corbaly's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Harley McTommy 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Harold Gollogley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harley McTommy's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Harley McTommy took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Harold Gollogley to make any attempt to save it. When Bairthmead Cassin came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Corbaly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bairthmead Cassin couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Bradagain McPaul fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Harold Gollogley, passed just outside the right post. Braonain Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bairthmead Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gill McSteven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braonain Byrne having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Harley McTommy made the kick off in the second half. Braonain Byrne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blanche Barrett in the 51st minute. Blanche Barrett hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Bradagain McPaul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harold Gollogley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradagain McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Gill McSteven recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Braonain Byrne. Gill McSteven showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 72 minutes into the match, Srananagh Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Gill McSteven came free, but Braonain Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Bradagain McPaul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harold Gollogley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bradagain McPaul struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Harold Gollogley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Srananagh Utd. In the 81stth minute of the game Bradagain McPaul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corbaly's Harold Gollogley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Bradagain McPaul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Srananagh Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradagain McPaul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harold Gollogley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Bairthmead Cassin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Braonain Byrne, passed just outside the right post. If Gill McSteven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shamus Byrne charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shamus Byrne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Corbaly booed when Srananagh Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shamus Byrne didn't get a good kick on the ball.
