Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomás McCready took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Laurencetown's Coran McJohnny got control of the ball when Bairthmead Cassin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Gill McSteven recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Coran McJohnny. Gill McSteven showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Coran McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gill McSteven in the 8th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Saoirse McLian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laurencetown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corbaly the free kick. Saoirse McLian hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Laurencetown's goalkeeper Coran McJohnny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bairthmead Cassin. A hard shot 29 in the game by Bairthmead Cassin from a close distance when the talented Coran McJohnny managed to make a qualified save. Laurencetown's players were relieved. 33 minutes into the match, Tomás McCready notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Corbaly's Harold Gollogley. Harold Gollogley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute Gill McSteven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Coran McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomás McCready's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harold Gollogley was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gill McSteven made a kick off. Coran McJohnny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Colmcille McCready went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, one of Laurencetown:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Laurencetown. After 64 played minutes Laurencetown got a freekick which was hit by Donavin McLaughlin. In the 65th minute of the match Antaine Perth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Coran McJohnny skillfully saved the ball. Coran McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gill McSteven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bairthmead Cassin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Saoirse McLian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laurencetown's supporters rose to their feet, but Saoirse McLian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harold Gollogley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berchan McPhil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saoirse Ramsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Gollogley having to interfere. If Berchan McPhil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Laurencetown's Tomás McCready got a free kick in the 81st minute. A collision led to Laurencetown getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Beamard Mulvihill hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Antaine Perth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Coran McJohnny skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Laurencetown defense, Colmcille McCready kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Coran McJohnny. The Laurencetown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Coran McJohnny should have stopped the shot. Harold Gollogley made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Saoirse McLian sent off a good shot on target. Saoirse McLian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Gollogley having to interfere. If Saoirse Ramsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Corbaly were victorious despite being under pressure from Laurencetown for much of the match.
