Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Srananagh Utd's Harley McTommy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knocknahoran Utd's goalkeeper Keefe Colwell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Srananagh Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Bat Horgan came free, but Braonain Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Breed McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keefe Colwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harley McTommy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Knocknahoran Utd's Keefe Colwell got control of the ball when Bradagain McPaul tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute Harley McTommy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keefe Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Knocknahoran Utd got a freekick which was hit by Colmcille Tracy. Knocknahoran Utd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Harley McTommy scored to the left of an out of position Keefe Colwell, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harley McTommy in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keefe Colwell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Srananagh Utd's Harley McTommy got a free kick in the 41st minute. Keefe Colwell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bradagain McPaul in the 45th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Bradagain McPaul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Srananagh Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradagain McPaul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bat Horgan to make the kick off. Keefe Colwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradagain McPaul in the 51st minute of the match. Keefe Colwell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bradagain McPaul went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Harley McTommy came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Srananagh Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harley McTommy couldn't finish the play. After 62 played minutes Knocknahoran Utd got a freekick which was hit by Barde McAaron. With a little luck, Srananagh Utd's Braonain Byrne got control of the ball when Breed McWilliam tried to sneak it across the goal line. Knocknahoran Utd's Keefe Colwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harley McTommy in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Bat Horgan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knocknahoran Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Bat Horgan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braonain Byrne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keefe Colwell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bradagain McPaul's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Harley McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keefe Colwell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harley McTommy went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harley McTommy in the 86th minute of play forced Knocknahoran Utd's goalkeeper Keefe Colwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bradagain McPaul hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Harley McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Srananagh Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harley McTommy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
