Kevinn Colwell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 38th minute, Donall Costello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eoghan Delaney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Driminidy's Kevinn Colwell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Driminidy from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eoghan Delaney in the 53rd minute of play forced Driminidy's goalkeeper Kevinn Colwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th match minute, Attavally Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brannagh Prunty to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Attavally Utd's zone, Barrie Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul McPhilip came out of the goal and Barrie Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After recieving a nice pass, Driminidy's Donagh Cronin tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Attavally Utd's Paul McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barrie Kirby in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Driminidy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donagh Cronin to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Driminidy's Kevinn Colwell got control of the ball when Brann Moran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paul McPhilip didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barrie Kirby went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Brann Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
