Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Beachain Scully kicked off to start the match. Blackwater's Robin McAlphie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Blackwater from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Tomás McCready put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Robin McAlphie. With a little luck, Blackwater's Robin McAlphie got control of the ball when Tomás McCready tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Tomás McCready reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robin McAlphie. The goal made the score 2-0. Robin McAlphie was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saoirse Ramsey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. With a little luck, Blackwater's Robin McAlphie got control of the ball when Tomás McCready tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blackwater's Robin McAlphie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Blackwater from getting a goal against them. Tomás McCready who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Robin McAlphie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomás McCready made the kick off in the second half. Beamard Mulvihill hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Berrin McSteve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás McCready sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás McCready received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Robin McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Blackwater getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Fintan McBrandon hit a great ball. Robin McAlphie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beamard Mulvihill, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Blackwater's Robin McAlphie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás McCready in the 70th minute of play. Tomás McCready sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Tomás McCready's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin McAlphie was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Tomás McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin McAlphie having to interfere. Laurencetown's Coran McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beachain Scully in the 83rd minute of play. After 87 minutes of play Blackwater's Berrin McSteve was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Blackwater getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Berrin McSteve hit a great ball. Robin McAlphie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás McCready, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92nd play minutes Tomás McCready shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Robin McAlphie and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee ended the match the Laurencetown players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
