A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Driminidy's Barrie Kirby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rannal O'Brien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th match minute, Baileborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reilly McPhilip to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes, Driminidy's Donagh Cronin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rannal O'Brien came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Driminidy reached it. Barrie Kirby took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rannal O'Brien. Rannal O'Brien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Barrie Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brendann O'Neill received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kevinn Colwell came out and tried to block the shot, but Brendann O'Neill slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. Brendann O'Neill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrie Kirby kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Bradner McWillie kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Donall Costello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Kevinn Colwell managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Baileborough's Rowen Willson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rannal O'Brien stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donall Costello's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The Driminidy fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Driminidy's Barrie Kirby looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Baileborough players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Driminidy were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barrie Kirby made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Driminidy got a freekick which was hit by Buach Gough. Baileborough's Brendann O'Neill got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Donall Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Driminidy's supporters rose to their feet, but Donall Costello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rannal O'Brien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Driminidy's Seosamh McWillie got a free kick in the 69th minute. Biviti Hutton, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 73rd minute, Donall Costello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Baileborough booed when Driminidy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymun McNamara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Biviti Hutton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kevinn Colwell. Driminidy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute, Donagh Cronin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match Biviti Hutton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kevinn Colwell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Rowen Willson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brendann O'Neill blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevinn Colwell having to make a save. In the 94th minute Brendann O'Neill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevinn Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
