Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomás McCready got the match started through his kick off. Attavally Utd's Paul McPhilip proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Attavally Utd from getting a goal against them. Saoirse Ramsey charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saoirse Ramsey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Attavally Utd booed when Laurencetown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saoirse Ramsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Saoirse Ramsey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brann Moran's late challenge caught a Laurencetown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brann Moran helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Laurencetown booed when Attavally Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brann Moran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurencetown's Coran McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brannagh Prunty in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Attavally Utd were awarded a corner. Braddon McJohnny went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 17th minute Tomás McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Tomás McCready notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Attavally Utd's Paul McPhilip. Paul McPhilip was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomás McCready could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Paul McPhilip made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Tomás McCready managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laurencetown's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás McCready was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul McPhilip breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Attavally Utd's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Donavin McLaughlin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Coran McJohnny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brann Moran, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 42nd minute Tomás McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brann Moran in the 43rd minute of play forced Laurencetown's goalkeeper Coran McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tomás McCready came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Laurencetown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás McCready couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eoghan Delaney was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Eoghan Delaney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Attavally Utd and the Laurencetown players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Attavally Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eoghan Delaney to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Brann Moran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Coran McJohnny was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 61stth minute of the game Tomás McCready who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Attavally Utd's Paul McPhilip was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Attavally Utd's zone, Saoirse McLian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul McPhilip came out of the goal and Saoirse McLian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Attavally Utd booed when Laurencetown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cormac McAlphie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes, Tomás McCready made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Attavally Utd's Paul McPhilip tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Tomás McCready's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul McPhilip was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Brannagh Prunty hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás McCready in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul McPhilip saved Attavally Utd from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Tomás McCready had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul McPhilip. Attavally Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás McCready was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Laurencetown players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
