Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Darick John made the kick off which started today's match. When Kealan Deery fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dromcunnig's protests and gave Kealan Deery a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Dromcunnig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kealan Deery to maneuver through the defense. When Brendon Cassin came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ballyroe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brendon Cassin couldn't finish the play. When Riddock Callaghan came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Dromcunnig fans jumped to their feet. In the 10th minute Darick John shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geary Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Jeremiah John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danann McJon shot from long distance in the 13th minute, but Geary Ryan was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darick John in the 15th minute of play forced Dromcunnig's goalkeeper Geary Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rourke Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Binean Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When %teams%'s Darick John was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 20 minutes into the game. Geary Ryan was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Binean Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rourke Robinson in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Brendon Cassin made a precise shot to the right of Geary Ryan. Dromcunnig's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 29 played minutes Dromcunnig got a freekick which was hit by Braeden O'Brien. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballyroe's goalkeeper Binean Delaney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute Darick John shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geary Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dromcunnig's Booak Horgan got a free kick in the 41st minute. Brendon Cassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geary Ryan having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pauric Matthews during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pauric Matthews hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rourke Robinson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rourke Robinson in the 53rd minute of play forced Ballyroe's goalkeeper Binean Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Brendon Cassin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geary Ryan. Dromcunnig's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brendon Cassin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brendon Cassin in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geary Ryan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geary Ryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendon Cassin in the 74th minute of the match. Geary Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darick John in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute Brendon Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geary Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes, Braeden O'Brien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dromcunnig and the Ballyroe players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Ballyroe a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Danann McJon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dromcunnig's Geary Ryan. 4-0. Brendon Cassin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Brendon Cassin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darick John struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Geary Ryan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballyroe. If Darick John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ballyroe's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
