When Thom McDonald fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cornageeha's protests and gave Thom McDonald a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Cornageeha got a freekick which was hit by Thom McDonald. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Renato Hottiger put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Séamus McDecland. Thom McDonald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Séamus McDecland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Matteucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Augusto Matteucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Séamus McDecland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Renato Hottiger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Séamus McDecland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renato Hottiger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augusto Matteucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Séamus McDecland made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Cornageeha's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Hottiger came free, but Séamus McDecland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Séamus McDecland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Hottiger in the 64th minute of play. Eoin McLaughlin kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Tyholland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradaigh Savic to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match Thom McDonald shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Royan Frankson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Tyholland FC's Renato Hottiger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Renato Hottiger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Cornageeha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cahir Hutton to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Glen Crowe's late challenge caught a Tyholland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Glen Crowe helped the player get up and apologised. With an all-out effort, Tyholland FC's Séamus McDecland threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Renato Hottiger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Renato Hottiger struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Séamus McDecland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tyholland FC. Thom McDonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Royan Frankson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After 94 played minutes Tyholland FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Ramsey. Daniel Ramsey hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Royan Frankson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thom McDonald in the 97th minute of the match.
