The audience thought a goal was coming when Brin Lavine got free with Seosamh McSteven in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brin Lavine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciarán Robinson in the 21st minute of play forced Ouley Utd's goalkeeper Dawayne McBrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beatty McMichel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Dinny Branson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kylegrove fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Brin Lavine came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Seosamh McSteven could save by the left post. Dawayne McBrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinny Branson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Kylegrove's Ciarán Robinson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dawayne McBrand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Dinny Branson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dawayne McBrand having to make a save. 48 minutes into the match, Brenda Glen Crowe notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ouley Utd's Dawayne McBrand. Dawayne McBrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Dawayne McBrand was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Britt Taylor. 85 minutes into the match, Brin Lavine notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Kylegrove's Seosamh McSteven. Seosamh McSteven was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Shamus McPhil fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kylegrove's protests and gave Shamus McPhil a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Kylegrove:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ouley Utd:s goal. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Ouley Utd. Brine Cooney stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Seosamh McSteven. 3-5. Todd Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ouley Utd fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kylegrove were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
