When Finian Colwell fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Ouley Utd booed when Boolyglass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finian Colwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ouley Utd's zone, Beara McLian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dawayne McBrand came out of the goal and Beara McLian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Beara McLian came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Boolyglass fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beara McLian couldn't finish the play. Conaill Walker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute of the match, Finian Colwell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dawayne McBrand was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caolán Dunne during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Conaill Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Barram Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Boolyglass's goal looked a bit too open when Caolán Dunne came free, but Barram Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Brin Lavine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barram Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Conaill Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ouley Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Conaill Walker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barram Robinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Conaill Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barram Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brin Lavine to strike the kick off in the second half. Beatty McMichel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Barram Robinson made a huge save. With a little luck, Boolyglass's Barram Robinson got control of the ball when Brin Lavine tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Ouley Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Beara McLian came free, but Dawayne McBrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conaill Glen Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Brin Lavine might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barram Robinson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brin Lavine ran back to his position shaking his head. Conaill Walker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barram Robinson having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Caolán Dunne took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Barram Robinson to make any attempt to save it. Conaill Walker hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Boolyglass's Barram Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conaill Walker in the 88th minute of play. Barram Robinson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beatty McMichel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 90 minute of play. Barram Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caolán Dunne in the 94th minute of play. Barram Robinson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brin Lavine in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Boolyglass's goal looked a bit too open when Conaill Walker came free, but Barram Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ouley Utd's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
