Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dinny Branson started the match with the kick off. Tobin Matthews showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinny Branson, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Dinny Branson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobin Matthews having to interfere. If Todd Quinnless had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Tromra's goal looked a bit too open when Dinny Branson came free, but Tobin Matthews reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seosamh McSteven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breannain Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Todd Scully hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Ciarán Robinson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kylegrove fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Breannain Hutton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Seosamh McSteven having to make a save. Dinny Branson took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobin Matthews. Tobin Matthews dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Robin Mullan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Kylegrove's Dinny Branson got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Tromra players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kylegrove were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Breannain Hutton was the one to do the kick off. Tromra's Breannain Hutton got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Kylegrove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Todd Scully to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Kylegrove's goal looked a bit too open when Breannain Hutton came free, but Seosamh McSteven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Britt Taylor hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes, Tromra's Dolan McTommy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Seosamh McSteven came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tromra reached it. In the 89th minute, Dinny Branson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tobin Matthews made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciarán Robinson in the 91st minute. A collision led to Kylegrove getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Brenda Glen Crowe hit a great ball. Seosamh McSteven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Quinnless in the 95th minute of the match. Kylegrove's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
