In the 20th minute, Henry McPeter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brendanus Ghee was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Cloonlumny's Gavin Harkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Cloonlumny from getting a goal against them. In the 24th match minute, Cloonlumny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garrett McPaul to maneuver through the defense. Brendanus Ghee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donell MaCollin in the 31st minute of the match. Rorry McPhilip hit a great ball. If Tate Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barclay McFrank in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brendanus Ghee saved Deelis from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Becc Hamilton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deelis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Brendanus Ghee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barclay McFrank's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Henry McPeter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cloonlumny's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry McPeter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brendanus Ghee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 71 minutes, Saoirse McPaul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cloonlumny and the Deelis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cloonlumny's Saoirse McPaul got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Cloonlumny defense, Casey Kirby kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavin Harkin. The Cloonlumny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavin Harkin should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Casey Kirby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavin Harkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Barclay McFranks short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Brendanus Ghee to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 80 minutes into the match, Cloonlumny's goal looked a bit too open when Becc Hamilton came free, but Gavin Harkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deelis's Brendanus Ghee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Deelis from getting a goal against them. Barclay McFrank received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brendanus Ghee came out and tried to block the shot, but Barclay McFrank slotted it home off the left post making it 4-4 in the 83rd minute. Brendanus Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Declan McJames, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Declan McJames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendanus Ghee having to interfere. Cloonlumny played a much better game than Deelis and deserved their victory. The Deelis players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
