In the 4th minute, Bannon McNamee left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gabhran Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Brannagh Bayes came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Gabhran Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brannagh Bayes couldn't finish the play. Brannen Delaney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bannon McNamee in the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Gabhran Utd's Bannon McNamee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brannen Delaney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Brannagh Bayes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brannen Delaney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Murrough's Brannen Delaney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brannagh Bayes in the 28th minute of play. Brannen Delaney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bannon McNamee, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Gabhran Utd's Brannagh Bayes got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brannen Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brannagh Bayes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bannon McNamee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannen Delaney having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Murrough:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gabhran Utd:s goal. The referee gave Gabhran Utd a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bradaigh McJohnny, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Murrough's Brannen Delaney. 0-3.

Brannagh Bayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannen Delaney having to interfere. Brannen Delaney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brannagh Bayes in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donn Dunne in the 63rd minute of play forced Gabhran Utd's goalkeeper Ros Ramsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Murrough got a freekick which was hit by Braddon Delaney. The crowd rose to their feet as Brannagh Bayes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Brannen Delaney. That made the score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. After 73 played minutes Gabhran Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bowie Crowe. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabhran Utd's Bannon McNamee slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brannen Delaney. That made the score 0-5 after 74 minutes of play. With his leg Brannen Delaney managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Gabhran Utd's Bannon McNamee fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ros Ramsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donn Dunne in the 89th minute of the match. Gabhran Utd's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
