Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fachtna Ferguson got the match started through his kick off. Carrig Molloy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Brasil McPhil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brasil McPhil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beagan Walker, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Rossduff AFC's Bernard McTom got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beagan Walker in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brasil McPhil saved Rossduff AFC from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Beagan Walker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brasil McPhil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 18 minutes, Beagan Walker made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rossduff AFC's Brasil McPhil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Russ McDecland in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Derrick McGlenn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fachtna Ferguson in the 24th minute of play forced Rockland's goalkeeper Derrick McGlenn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Jack Colwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Boyce MaCollin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockland's supporters rose to their feet, but Boyce MaCollin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brasil McPhil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Rockland's Beagan Walker in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Beagan Walker made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beagan Walker in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brasil McPhil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Fachtna Ferguson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Beagan Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rockland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beagan Walker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 played minutes, Rossduff AFC's Reginald McOliver shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Derrick McGlenn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rossduff AFC reached it. Beagan Walker struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Brasil McPhil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rockland. Derrick McGlenn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Russ McDecland in the 72nd minute of the match. Derrick McGlenn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Russ McDecland in the 77th minute of play. Beagan Walker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes Rossduff AFC got a freekick which was hit by Breas McJohn. When Russ McDecland fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rossduff AFC's protests and gave Russ McDecland a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Rossduff AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russ McDecland to maneuver through the defense. If Beagan Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bealtaine MaCollin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rockland had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
