Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Becan Lavine started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Brenden Grant made a precise shot to the right of Brannen Delaney. Murrough's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th minute, Donn Dunne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braon Horgan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Donleavy Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braon Horgan having to interfere. Brannen Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Becan Lavine in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Donn Dunne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murrough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donn Dunne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Murrough's goal looked a bit too open when Becan Lavine came free, but Brannen Delaney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Murrough's goalkeeper Brannen Delaney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brenden Grant. Becan Lavine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fews's goalkeeper Braon Horgan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Braon Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donleavy Gough in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donn Dunne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brenden Grant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brannen Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Becan Lavine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes, Murrough's Giles O'Keefe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Braon Horgan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Murrough reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brenden Grant in the 74th minute of play forced Murrough's goalkeeper Brannen Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Donleavy Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Becan Lavine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Brannen Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brannen Delaney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brenden Grant in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match Arnold Kelly shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brannen Delaney showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Becan Lavine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brannen Delaney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brenden Grant went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Fews's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
