Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Breaghdha Silke kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Bellavary's Breaghdha Silke got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute Benen Jameson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bivadi Tracy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Flannery Silke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boyle McAlphie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breaghdha Silke in the 18th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Breaghdha Silke notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rathwire's Boyle McAlphie. Boyle McAlphie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geoffrey Horgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyle McAlphie having to interfere. Boyle McAlphie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flannery Silke in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Bellavary getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Breaghdha Silke hit a great ball. Flannery Silke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyle McAlphie having to interfere. If Breaghdha Silke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Benen Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benen Jameson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benen Jameson to make the kick off. Flannery Silke hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Lee Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bivadi Tracy having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Rathwire's Beag McWill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bivadi Tracy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Rathwire's Boyle McAlphie got control of the ball when Flannery Silke tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Rathwire's goal looked a bit too open when Breaghdha Silke came free, but Boyle McAlphie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes, Lee Martyn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rathwire and the Bellavary players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bellavary booed when Rathwire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lee Martyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Artt McCollion from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Boyle McAlphie's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flannery Silke got free with Boyle McAlphie in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 74th minute of the match Lee Martyn completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lee Martyn a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 75 played minutes Rathwire got a freekick which was hit by Lee Martyn. After having played for 77 minutes, Breaghdha Silke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellavary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breaghdha Silke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Bellavary's Breaghdha Silke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boyle McAlphie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bivadi Tracy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beag McWill, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Beag McWill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bivadi Tracy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beag McWill might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bivadi Tracy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beag McWill ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Beag McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rathwire's supporters rose to their feet, but Beag McWill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bivadi Tracy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Breaghdha Silke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boyle McAlphie, 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bellavary had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
