Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Beag McLaughlin kicked off to start the match. Isaac Colwell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brant Rogers went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Ballyleen's Berk Frankson got a free kick in the 7th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Royan Branson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crookstown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Royan Branson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute Royan Branson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Colwell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brant Rogers in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, Ballyleen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bard Tracy to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Royan Branson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Colwell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 27 minutes, Bard Tracy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballyleen and the Crookstown players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Crookstown booed when Ballyleen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bard Tracy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyleen's zone, Brant Rogers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Colwell came out of the goal and Brant Rogers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Derrick McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ballyleen's Berk Frankson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Crookstown's Royan Branson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isaac Colwell. That made the score 4-0 after 44 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
In the 51st minute, Brant Rogers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Derrick McFrancise's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Bran Quinnless skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Crookstown's Bran Quinnless proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Crookstown from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Crookstown getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Brant Costello hit a great ball. Bran Quinnless didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brant Rogers in the 64th minute of play forced Ballyleen's goalkeeper Isaac Colwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brenan Mullan charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brenan Mullan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Ballyleen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brenan Mullan to maneuver through the defense. Nolen Keegan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Brant Rogers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Beag McLaughlin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bran Quinnless. Beag McLaughlin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Crookstown's Royan Branson got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ballyleen defense, Brant Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Colwell. The Ballyleen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Colwell should have stopped the shot. Isaac Colwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Royan Branson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Bran Quinnless took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beag McLaughlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes, Bairrionn McPhil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballyleen and the Crookstown players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Bairrionn McPhil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Crookstown's Royan Branson in 91 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Isaac Colwell guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Isaac Colwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Royan Branson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Crookstown were the better team. Crookstown's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
