Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Barram McNamee made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Doolin's Gaynor Gollogley got a free kick in the 6th minute. Derry McMichel charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Derry McMichel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kerrigan Colwell succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Donald Walker kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Cappavicar's Barley McOliver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerrigan Colwell in the 22nd minute of play. Barram McNamee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donlan McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Barley McOliver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Kerrigan Colwell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cappavicar's Barley McOliver was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kerrigan Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Barley McOliver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barley McOliver made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Donlan McVictor sent off a good shot on target. Donlan McVictor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kerrigan Colwell made a kick off. In the 54th minute Kerrigan Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barley McOliver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerrigan Colwell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barley McOliver read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Cappavicar's goal looked a bit too open when Kerrigan Colwell came free, but Barley McOliver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kerrigan Colwell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barley McOliver was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Cappavicar's Barley McOliver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donlan McVictor in the 64th minute of play. Doolin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kerrigan Colwell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donlan McVictor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83rd play minutes Kerrigan Colwell shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Barley McOliver and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Donlan McVictor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doolin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donlan McVictor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Kerrigan Colwell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doolin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Doolin players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
