Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) Drumlave's Gearard Barrett started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Brant Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crookstown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brant Rogers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bran Quinnless showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gearard Barrett in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Brant Costello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crookstown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drumlave the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Crookstown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brant Costello to maneuver through the defense. Brant Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brant Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bairee McStephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Crookstown's Royan Branson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bairee McStephen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bairee McStephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brant Rogers in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Gearard Barrett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Quinnless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gearard Barrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bran Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Royan Branson sped through Drumlave's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bairee McStephen . In the 34thth minute of the game Brant Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drumlave's Bairee McStephen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute Royan Branson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bairee McStephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Gearard Barrett fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bran Quinnless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gearard Barrett, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 minutes of play Crookstown's Brant Costello was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Brant Costello kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Crookstown's Bran Quinnless proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Crookstown from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brant Rogers was the one to do the kick off. Gearard Barrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 55 minutes on the clock, Brite Mullan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Crookstown fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! 57 minutes into the match, Sean McPeter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bran Quinnless. Crookstown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sean McPeter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Berry Morrison came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Crookstown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berry Morrison couldn't finish the play. Nolen Keegan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Tipper McPhil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bairee McStephen came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Crookstown's Berry Morrison. But to his dismay, Berry Morrison quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Drumlave's zone, Danann Duggan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bairee McStephen came out of the goal and Danann Duggan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bairee McStephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berry Morrison in the 81st minute of play. Berry Morrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lee Perth kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Gearard Barrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berry Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bairee McStephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Danann Duggan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crookstown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danann Duggan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Drumlave's goal looked a bit too open when Boylan Glen Crowe came free, but Bairee McStephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Berry Morrison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bairee McStephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Royan Branson in the 98th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Royan Branson got free with Bairee McStephen in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Crookstown could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Drumlave throughout the match.
