In the 8th minute of the match Sean McPeter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rory Scully skillfully saved the ball. After 8 minutes, Reidy Willson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gortaheera and the Drumlave players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reidy Willson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Rory Scully was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tipper McPhil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Gortaheera's Bohannon Kelly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bairee McStephen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 30th minute, Bohannon Kelly left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gortaheera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Rory Scully made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Tipper McPhil sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Drumlave getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sean McPeter hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Lee Perth in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gortaheera's Breccan McNamara. Bohannon Kelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Gortaheera got a freekick which was hit by Boyne McPeter. Gortaheera's Bohannon Kelly got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Kevinn Callaghan thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Bairee McStephen , a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Bohannon Kelly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortaheera's supporters rose to their feet, but Bohannon Kelly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bairee McStephen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kevinn Callaghan's late challenge caught a Gortaheera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevinn Callaghan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Drumlave was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevinn Callaghan to maneuver through the defense. If Bohannon Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drumlave's Bairee McStephen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Drumlave from getting a goal against them. Breccan McNamara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bairee McStephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Bohannon Kelly reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bairee McStephen . The goal made the score 2-4. Drumlave's Bairee McStephen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Drumlave from getting a goal against them. Drumlave's Bairee McStephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bohannon Kelly in the 95th minute of play.
