The crowd rose to their feet as Royan Branson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boyle McAlphie. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. In the 47th minute Royan Branson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyle McAlphie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bran Quinnless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beag McWill, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute.

56 minutes into the match, Crookstown's Brant Rogers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boyle McAlphie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Rathwire's goal looked a bit too open when Brant Rogers came free, but Boyle McAlphie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rathwire's goalkeeper Boyle McAlphie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boyle McAlphie came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Crookstown's Brant Rogers. But to his dismay, Brant Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benen Jameson in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bran Quinnless prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Crookstown's Berry Morrison got a free kick in the 66th minute. Boylan Glen Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Bran Quinnless made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Beag McWill sent off a good shot on target. Rathwire were furious when Bairne McNamee was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 73 minutes into the game, one of Rathwire:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 79 minutes into the match, Rathwire's goal looked a bit too open when Brant Rogers came free, but Boyle McAlphie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Crookstown defense, Lee Martyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bran Quinnless. The Crookstown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bran Quinnless should have stopped the shot. Royan Branson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Boyle McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lee Martyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Bran Quinnless made a huge save. A collision led to Crookstown getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Berry Morrison hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Crookstown had won after a very even match.
