Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Kilclooney's Garrett McStephen got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Fachtna McPhilip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bard Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bairthmead Walker having to interfere. Tady Ghee took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gearóid Johnson. Gearóid Johnson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Auley Quinnless charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Auley Quinnless the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Auley Quinnless kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Tady Ghee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fachtna McPhilip in the 29th minute of play forced Kilclooney's goalkeeper Bairthmead Walker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Fachtna McPhilip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tulsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Fachtna McPhilip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bairthmead Walker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kilclooney's Bairthmead Walker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Kilclooney from getting a goal against them. Tulsk's Gearóid Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garrett McStephen in the 35th minute of play. Tady Ghee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gearóid Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Tulsk got a freekick which was hit by Paud Robinson. Garrett McStephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gearóid Johnson having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Garrett McStephen made the kick off in the second half. Shiel McJames hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Kilclooney were awarded a corner. Donelle Moran went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Rian Dunne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gearóid Johnson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 62 minutes into the match, Tulsk's goal looked a bit too open when Garrett McStephen came free, but Gearóid Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bairthmead Walker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fachtna McPhilip, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Garrett McStephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tady Ghee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gearóid Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bard Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bairthmead Walker having to interfere. Tady Ghee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gearóid Johnson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garrett McStephen in the 82nd minute of play forced Tulsk's goalkeeper Gearóid Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garrett McStephen in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gearóid Johnson saved Tulsk from getting behind. Paud Robinson kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tulsk's Brendan Doyle got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Kilclooney left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tulsk.
