Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abbot Matthews took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reagan Doyle during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Kiltybegs AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reagan Doyle to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Torin Savic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Broher Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kiltybegs AFC the free kick. Birr Molloy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Leon McPaul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kiltybegs AFC's Don Keegan got a free kick in the 17th minute. 19 minutes in the game, Boru McStephen dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Abbot Matthews recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abbot Matthews in the 28th minute of play forced Broher Utd's goalkeeper Leon McPaul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torin Savic in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donegal Rutherford, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Torin Savic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broher Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Torin Savic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donegal Rutherford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Boru McStephen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Broher Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 39th match minute, Kiltybegs AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorcan McGlynn to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th match minute, Broher Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur McJohn to maneuver through the defense. Briain McWilliam charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Briain McWilliam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Briain McWilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boru McStephen to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Kiltybegs AFC's zone, Torin Savic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donegal Rutherford came out of the goal and Torin Savic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Boru McStephen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kiltybegs AFC's Donegal Rutherford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Boru McStephen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donegal Rutherford. Kiltybegs AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boru McStephen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Broher Utd's Bil McJohn got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abbot Matthews in the 66th minute of play forced Broher Utd's goalkeeper Leon McPaul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Abbot Matthews 's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon McPaul was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 72nd minute, Birr Molloy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon McPaul was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Birr Molloy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jarlath McJohnny hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Peter Coyle was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Boru McStephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Donegal Rutherford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torin Savic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donegal Rutherford having to interfere. Boru McStephen struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Donegal Rutherford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broher Utd. Torin Savic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Broher Utd were the better team. Broher Utd's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
