Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Donoghue Harkin got the match started through his kick off. Terry Gallagher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacey Callaghan having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Coolcorragh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Callaghan to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Frankson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cacey Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryon McFrancise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Coolcorragh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Callaghan. After 16 played minutes Barroosky got a freekick which was hit by Brett Hunt. Terry Gallagher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacey Callaghan having to interfere. Cacey Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donoghue Harkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barroosky's Cacey Callaghan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Callaghan in the 20th minute of play. Cacey Callaghan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryon McFrancise in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Coolcorragh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Declan Gough. In the 29th minute, Britt Beckett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Britt Beckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacey Callaghan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donoghue Harkin in the 36th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Barroosky got a freekick which was hit by Reilly Ghee. Barroosky's Cacey Callaghan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terry Gallagher in the 49th minute of play. After the first half Coolcorragh AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Britt Beckett was the one to do the kick off. After 59 minutes of play, Coolcorragh AFC's Terry Gallagher made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cacey Callaghan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cacey Callaghan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Terry Gallagher in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, one of Barroosky:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barroosky. Cacey Callaghan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donoghue Harkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Coolcorragh AFC's zone, Britt Beckett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keely Beckett came out of the goal and Britt Beckett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gil Callaghan during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gil Callaghan hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Brett Hunt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keely Beckett. Coolcorragh AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brett Hunt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Barroosky's Caroll McPhil got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Britt Beckett came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Barroosky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Britt Beckett couldn't finish the play. Coolcorragh AFC played a much better game than Barroosky and deserved their victory. The Barroosky players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
