In the 25th match minute, Kiltybegs AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bowen McPaul to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Kiltybegs AFC got a freekick which was hit by Donncha Keegan. After a defensive mix-up in Kiltybegs AFC's zone, Beachain Taylor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birr Molloy in the 34th minute of play forced Park FC's goalkeeper Heron O'Brien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abbot Matthews to make the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kiltybegs AFC's goalkeeper Donegal Rutherford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 59 minutes, Earnán Coyle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Park FC and the Kiltybegs AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 minutes of play, Park FC's Tiomoid Cassin made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donegal Rutherford was left in no man's land by his defense there!
