With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gearóid Johnson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Banon Rogers in the 19th minute of play forced Tulsk's goalkeeper Gearóid Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Tulsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendan Doyle to maneuver through the defense. Coileán Sheridan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gearóid Johnson. Tulsk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Bard Hamilton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tulsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bard Hamilton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Branagain Dimson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Tulsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Branagain Dimson couldn't finish the play. Torin McFrank might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gearóid Johnson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torin McFrank ran back to his position shaking his head. After 42 minutes, Banon Rogers made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tulsk's Gearóid Johnson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torin McFrank in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gearóid Johnson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Tulsk players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cullentragh Utd were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Banon Rogers made a kick off. In the 55th minute Banon Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gearóid Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Biddy Morrison during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
