Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thurl Kelly started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobin Gollogley in the 4th minute of play forced Ballydevill's goalkeeper Tirloch Bayes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Tobin Gollogley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tirloch Bayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flannery Perth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaine McAaron in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute Breen Todd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tirloch Bayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tirloch Bayes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breen Todd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Garadice's Thurl Kelly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tirloch Bayes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Thurl Kelly left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garadice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Beanon Dunne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flannery Perth having to make a save. Donlan McBrandon struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Flannery Perth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballydevill. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaine McAaron in the 40th minute of play forced Garadice's goalkeeper Flannery Perth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Garadice's Bard Ghee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tirloch Bayes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Garadice's zone, Kaine McAaron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flannery Perth came out of the goal and Kaine McAaron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Breen Todd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Garadice's Thurl Kelly dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Patrick Brennan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flannery Perth. Garadice's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bard Ghee during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Garadice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bard Ghee to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Fintan McFrancise sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flannery Perth skillfully saved the ball. Tirloch Bayes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bard Ghee went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute, Kaine McAaron made a precise shot to the right of Flannery Perth. Garadice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. Tirloch Bayes made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Breen Todd sent off a good shot on target. Flannery Perth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fintan McFrancise in the 80th minute of the match. Tirloch Bayes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breen Todd in the 82nd minute. Ballydevill's Tirloch Bayes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Ballydevill from getting a goal against them. Fintan McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Thurl Kelly ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tirloch Bayes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Tirloch Bayes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bard Ghee went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-9 was the resulting score.
